Kebbi State Appoints Ismaila Arzika Mungadi as Sole Administrator

The Kebbi State government has appointed Ismaila Arzika Mungadi as the sole administrator of Abdullahi Fodio University of Science and Technology. This decision follows the dissolution of the university's governing council and the removal of its principal officer, as recommended by a visiting panel.

The announcement was made by Isha Abubakar Tunga during a visit to the institution, where he confirmed the new administration. The state government, represented by Mustapha Mansur Ango, issued a statement regarding the changes, emphasizing the need for improved performance at the university.

Mungadi is expected to assume his duties immediately, with a focus on ensuring a smooth transition and fostering unity within the university community. He expressed gratitude for the trust placed in him and called for collaboration among all staff to advance the institution's academic excellence.

Further decisions regarding appointments will be communicated upon the governor's return.
