Kebbi's Argungun Festival Showcases Culture and Tourism

The 2026 Argungun Fish Festival took place from February 11 to 14, establishing Kebbi State as a premier tourism destination in West Africa. Governor Nasir Idris's visionary leadership was evident as the festival showcased the state's rich cultural heritage, attracting dignitaries, investors, and tourists.

The event featured vibrant celebrations, including agricultural products, livestock, and solid minerals, with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and traditional rulers in attendance. The organizing committee, led by Deputy Governor Umar Abubakar Tafida, worked diligently to upgrade facilities in Argungun, ensuring a seamless experience for visitors.
