Kefas Swears In New High Court Judge and Khadis in Taraba

On Wednesday, Governor Kefas of Taraba State presided over the swearing-in ceremony for a newly appointed High Court judge, Justice Mansura Bargami, and two Khadis, Aliyu Yaya Abubakar and Yakubu Moh, of the Sharia Court of Appeal. The event took place at the Executive Chamber of the Danjuma House in Jalingo and attracted various dignitaries, including government officials, judiciary members, traditional rulers, and religious leaders.

Governor Kefas described the occasion as a significant milestone in his administration's efforts to strengthen the judiciary and improve governance while deepening inclusivity in the state. He emphasized that a strong and independent judiciary is the bedrock of democracy and charged the newly sworn-in officials to uphold justice and integrity in their duties.

The governor also urged the new Special Advisers to leverage their expertise to advance the administration's development agenda, ensuring tangible results for the citizens of Taraba State.
