Taraba Governor Kefa Swears in Judges and Advisers

On Wednesday, Dr. Agbu Kefa, the Governor of Taraba State, presided over a swearing-in ceremony for a new high court judge, Justice Mansura Bargami, and three Khadis: Aliyu Yaya Abubakar, Yakubu Moh, and those for the Sharia Court of Appeal. The event took place at the executive chamber of the Danjuma House in Jalingo and was attended by key government officials, judiciary members, political stakeholders, traditional rulers, religious leaders, and dignitaries from across the state.

Governor Kefa described the occasion as a significant milestone in his administration's efforts to strengthen the judiciary and promote inclusivity in Taraba State. He emphasized that a strong and independent judiciary is the bedrock of democracy and urged the newly sworn-in officials to uphold justice and integrity in their duties.

Additionally, he charged the newly appointed special advisers to leverage their expertise to advance the administration's development agenda, ensuring that their appointments are based on merit and proven capacity to positively impact the lives of citizens.
