Keffi jailbreak: Report suspicious persons to security agencies – Gov Sule

Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State has urged citizens to remain vigilant and report any suspicious persons to security agencies following a jailbreak at the Keffi Medium Custodial Centre. The governor expressed the state government's desire to partner with relevant authorities in the Federal Capital Territory to prosecute the inmates who escaped.

During a visit to the facility, Governor Sule revealed that the 16 inmates who escaped were awaiting trial and emphasized the need for good behavior among inmates to reduce congestion in the facility. He also promised to improve the living conditions of inmates by supplying 500 mattresses.

The governor commended the officers and security agencies for their efforts in recapturing the escapees. The breach in security at the facility occurred in the early hours of Tuesday.
