Nasarawa Governor Orders Profiling of New Residents for Security

Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State has ordered the profiling of new residents by traditional rulers and community leaders to enhance security and curb rising insecurity, including killings and kidnappings. The directive, announced by the Governor's Special Adviser on Public Affairs, Peter Ahemba, aims to address recent security concerns following attacks in Keana and Kadarko communities.

The state government plans to deploy technology to boost security operations and warned against shielding or bailing out suspects. Residents are urged to support security agencies by reporting suspicious activities promptly to ensure the safety of communities, particularly around Lafia.
