EACC Investigates Football Kenya Federation Officials

Officials from the Football Kenya Federation (FKF) are facing scrutiny from the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) as part of an ongoing investigation into alleged financial misconduct. The EACC reportedly arrived at the FKF premises to demand immediate access to critical documents, including financial records covering the period from 2024 to 2026.

This investigation is particularly focused on a Ksh 42 million insurance scandal, with the EACC examining the financial deals and procurement processes within the federation. Among those engaged in discussions with EACC officials were FKF members Ahmed Qadar, Moham Dabar, and former national executive committee member Muriithi Nabea.

The probe has caused significant unrest within the federation, particularly within its finance department, as the EACC seeks to clarify the circumstances surrounding the tender documents and the list of pre-qualified companies scheduled for engagement by the federation from 2025 to 2027.
