Kidnappers Demand Ransom Within 24 Hours for 28 Plateau Travellers

Kidnappers in Plateau State have issued a 24-hour ultimatum to the families of 28 travelers held hostage, demanding a ransom of N1.5 million per person. The victims were abducted on December 21 while returning from a religious event.

Despite pleas from the victims' families, the kidnappers have insisted on the ransom being paid within the stipulated time frame, threatening to execute the captives if their demands are not met. Security forces have been deployed to rescue the hostages.

Ibrahim Musa and Muham Hamisu are involved in the efforts to secure the victims' release.
