Plateau Kidnappers Slash Ransom to N30m for 28 Victims, Demand 3 Bikes

Kidnappers in Plateau State have reduced the ransom demand for 28 abducted victims to N30 million and requested three motorcycles as part of the ransom. The victims, including men, women, and children, were taken by the abductors while returning from a Maulud event in Sabon Layi Community, Bashar District.

The victims' relatives are unable to afford the ransom and have pleaded for their release. Efforts by the Wase Local Government Chairman, Muham Hamisu, and security forces, including helicopter deployments and intelligence-driven operations, are underway to rescue the victims and apprehend the perpetrators.
