Kwara Police Arrest Suspects for Kidnapping Operations

The Kwara State Police Command disclosed that two suspects, Adamu Ibrahim (30) and Sani Musa (29), were arrested following credible intelligence that led to sustained surveillance. Preliminary investigations revealed that the suspects were allegedly using a female accomplice to evade security checks while transporting weapons.

During interrogation, the suspects reportedly confessed to being members of a kidnapping syndicate currently operating within and around the state. The police recovered three AK-47 rifles, five AK-47 magazines, and 143 rounds of 7.62mm live ammunition from their hideout.

The suspects are currently in custody, assisting in investigations aimed at tracking down other members of the criminal network to prevent further criminal activities. Upon conclusion of the investigation, the suspects will be charged in court.
