King's College Celebrates Cultural Day Promoting Unity

King's College in Lagos recently celebrated its Cultural Day, an event aimed at promoting love, unity, and respect among the diverse cultural heritage of Nigeria. The celebration, which is part of the school's 117-year history, showcased traditional attire, food, dance, and music, fostering appreciation for various heritages.

Principal Mr. Magaji Zachariah highlighted the importance of unity in Nigeria, stating that it is not merely a chance occurrence but a deliberate choice made by citizens.

The event featured a food fair and cultural exhibits, with students participating in a competition to encourage greater commitment across six geopolitical zones. Special guests included Olori Majesti Angeliqu Monet Gurej Thompson and Oba Dokun Thompson, who emphasized the significance of showcasing Nigeria's rich cultural diversity.
