Kogi Police Rescue Passengers After Warri-Itakpe Train Derails in Adogo

The Kogi State Police Command rescued stranded passengers after a Warri-Itakpe train derailed in Adogo, Ajaokuta Local Government Area. The incident occurred on Sunday, with passengers safely evacuated to Ajaokuta train station.

The Police Commissioner, CP Naziru Kankarofi, deployed security personnel to the area immediately. This derailment comes just a week after the Nigerian Railway Corporation resumed the Warri-Itakpe train service following a previous incident in Agbor, Delta State.
