Kogi Polytechnic Lecturer Dies Suddenly While Teaching

Mr. Anslem Ojodomo, a lecturer in Public Administration at Kogi State Polytechnic, collapsed and died during a class session. The incident occurred on a Friday, and the rector of the polytechnic, Prof. Salihu Avidim, confirmed the tragic news.

Ojodomo was pronounced dead at a nearby hospital despite efforts to save him. This sudden loss has sent shockwaves through the institution, especially as it follows the recent passing of another lecturer, Dr. Barnaba Akuba, who had just completed his PhD program.

Eyewitness accounts from students indicate that Ojodomo collapsed while addressing them. The rector expressed deep condolences to Ojodomo's family, recalling their last meeting just an hour before his death, where they exchanged pleasantries.

Ojodomo, who was born on October 5, 1992, and passed away on March 27, 2026, joined Kogi State Polytechnic in 2021 and was known for his dedication and commitment to his students and the institution.
