Kogi Secures NEPZA License for Ajaokuta Free Trade Zone

Kogi State has officially secured a license from the Nigerian Export Processing Zones Authority (NEPZA) for the Ajaokuta Economic City Free Trade Zone, as announced by Kingsley Fanwo, the Kogi Commissioner for Information. This development, reported on Thursday in Lokoja, signifies a formal commencement of Nigeria's strategic industrial corridor.

The license is anticipated to attract significant investments and create thousands of jobs across the state, contributing to Kogi's industrial growth and economic diversification. The certificate was presented to Governor Ahm Ododo at NEPZA headquarters in Abuja, marking a historic milestone in Kogi's economic transformation agenda.
