Kwankwasiyya Movement Members Exit ADC for NDC

Members of the Kwankwasiyya movement, loyal to former Kano State Governor Rabiu Kwankwaso, have initiated a gradual exit from the African Democratic Congress (ADC) to join the National Democratic Congress (NDC). This development follows discussions regarding the future of the movement, with spokespersons indicating that a final decision has not yet been made on whether members will secure positions on the ADC platform or move to the NDC.

Notably, key figures from Kano, particularly loyalists to Kwankwaso, have already left the ADC, including a former deputy governor of Kano State. The ADC is expected to provide security positions for its members, with some anticipated to assume duties by May 12, 2026.
