Kwankwaso and Amaechi Attend Opposition Summit in Ibadan

Rabiu Kwankwaso, former governor of Kano State, and Rotimi Amaechi, former Minister of Transport, arrived in Ibadan, Oyo State, for a national summit of opposition political party leaders. The summit, scheduled for Saturday, has been organized amidst allegations from the African Democratic Congress (ADC) regarding a plot by the All Progressives Congress (APC) to disrupt the event.

The ADC's spokesperson stated that efforts were made to frustrate the gathering, reflecting a pattern of interference aimed at weakening opposition activities. Abdullahi, the ADC spokesperson, accused the ruling party of hypocrisy, noting that while they publicly claim not to threaten opposition gatherings, their actions suggest otherwise.

Despite these allegations, the ADC spokesman affirmed their commitment to proceed with the summit as planned.
