NNPP Secretary Blames Kwankwaso for Party Litigations

On Tuesday, the National Secretary of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), Ogini Olaposi, issued a statement in Lagos addressing the ongoing legal battles within the party. He attributed these litigations to the actions of Rabiu Kwankwaso, rejecting allegations made by elder Buba Galadima that the All Progressives Congress (APC), led by Bola Tinubu, is sponsoring these court cases to undermine the NNPP.

Olaposi characterized Galadima's claims as "lazy, empty blackmail." He emphasized that Kwankwaso's attempts to seize control of the party have led to defections and ongoing court cases. The NNPP spokesman urged members who have left due to these litigations to return and help rebuild the party ahead of the 2027 general elections.

He also mentioned that the party has begun e-registration for members in line with INEC guidelines and is focused on strengthening its human structure for electoral success.
