NNPP Confident in Future Despite Kwankwaso's Exit

The New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) has stated that the exit of Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso will not adversely affect the party's future. Agbo Major, the faction's chairman, emphasized the party's resilience and structural integrity during an interview.

He noted that despite the leadership crisis following the 2023 general elections and a court ruling on March 17 favoring his faction, the NNPP remains solid. Major criticized the notion that the party's success is solely tied to Kwankwaso, asserting that political parties should not be built around individuals.

He highlighted the party's historical transparency over 22 years and blamed recent turmoil on Kwankwaso's faction. Major also mentioned plans to tackle insecurity in Nigeria and dismissed concerns about the party's ability to field candidates in the upcoming elections, asserting that the NNPP will continue to operate independently of external influences.
