Kwankwaso Blames Leadership for Plateau State Attack

Rabiu Kwankwaso, the former governor of Kano State and a presidential candidate for the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), expressed his condemnation of the recent attack in Plateau State, labeling it as barbaric and shameful. In a statement released via his social media account on Tuesday, Kwankwaso attributed the attack to a broader leadership failure within the country.

He emphasized that Nigerians deserve to live in peace, security, and dignity, regardless of their ethnic or religious backgrounds. Kwankwaso extended his condolences to those affected by the attack and urged the government to treat security matters with the seriousness they deserve, rather than as a routine issue.

He called for a national emergency declaration to address the ongoing security challenges in Nigeria, highlighting the need for immediate and effective government intervention.
