NNPP Leaders Reject Kwankwaso's External Influence Claims

Rabiu Kwankwaso's assertion that external influences contributed to his exit from the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) has been refuted by party leaders. In a statement, Kwankwaso described his departure as a result of legal issues and challenges faced by the NNPP, drawing parallels with the African Democratic Congress (ADC).

However, Boniface Aniebonam, the founder of NNPP, emphasized that Kwankwaso's problems are personal and not due to external factors. He criticized Kwankwaso for blaming others and noted that his exit followed a series of internal conflicts, including the expulsion of Buba Galadima from the party.

Aniebonam also highlighted that Kwankwaso's claims of external influence are inappropriate and warned against attempts to hijack the party. The NNPP, which was formed to support Kwankwaso's presidential ambitions, has faced challenges, including mass defections to the All Progressives Congress (APC) and allegations of misconduct against its identity and constitution.
