Ilorin Emirate Students Endorse Mustapha for Governor

The Ilorin Emirate Student Union has officially endorsed Saliu Mustapha as their candidate for the governorship of Kwara State in the upcoming 2027 elections. This endorsement was made during the maiden Ramadan lecture series organized to honor the Senate, where Mustapha serves as the representative for the Kwara Central Senatorial District and is the Chairman of the Senate Committee on Agriculture, Rural Development, and Product Services.

The students expressed their satisfaction with Mustapha's performance in the National Assembly over the past three years, leading them to call for his candidacy in the next elections. The event was attended by several prominent figures, including the Emir of Ilorin, Ibrahim Sulu Gambari, and various community stakeholders.

Sheikh Zulkainaini Opolo, a member of the Emirate Student body, assured unconditional support for Mustapha's gubernatorial bid. The endorsement reflects a broader community appreciation for Mustapha's contributions and commitment to local development.
