Kwara APC Plans Consensus Arrangement for Candidate Selection

Princ Sundai Fagbemi, the chairman of the APC in Kwara State, indicated that the party may adopt a consensus arrangement to select candidates for various positions in the upcoming general elections. This strategy aims to promote unity and cohesion within the party.

Fagbemi made this announcement during a reception in Ilorin for aspirants, including Mr. Florenc Oyeyemi, who is vying for the Isin/Ifelodun Federal Constituency seat.

He noted that the APC is a single-family party and intends to streamline the number of aspirants for various political positions to avoid conflicts during the primaries. Fagbemi urged aspirants to engage with their constituents and build relationships with the people.

He praised the performance of the APC-led government under Governor Abdulrazaq and highlighted the party's growth in the state. The chairman also mentioned the collaborative efforts with President Bola Tinubu to enhance the nation's economic indicators.
