VP Shettima Leads FG Delegation to Condole with Kwara Attack Victims

Vice President Kashim Shettima, representing the federal government, visited Kaiama, Kwara State, following a deadly terrorist attack that claimed multiple lives. The attack led to the deployment of a Nigerian Army battalion to restore peace in the affected community.

President Bola Tinubu instructed NEMA to provide resources in partnership with the Kwara State Emergency Management Agency to support the distressed community. Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq of Kwara State commiserated with the victims and praised the swift response of the federal government.

Governor Babagana Zulum of Borno State also extended condolences, emphasizing the need for continued prayers for peace and security in Nigeria. Local officials and traditional rulers expressed gratitude for the prompt action taken by the government in response to the tragedy.
