VP Shettima Conducts On-the-Spot Assessment of Tragic Attack in Kwara State

Vice President Kashim Shettima has left Abuja to conduct an on-the-spot assessment of a tragic attack in Kwara State. The attack, which occurred in Woro, Kaiama Local Government Area, led to multiple casualties and raised significant security apprehensions in the region.

Shettima is directed by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to ensure a thorough investigation and apprehension of the perpetrators. The assault, which drew nationwide condemnation, involved armed assailants launching a coordinated attack on a rural settlement.

Prior warnings had been issued, alleging extremist activities favoring the Nigerian State. The visit by the Vice President is part of the federal government's commitment to supporting victims and enhancing security responses in the affected areas.
