Kwara Journalists Mourn The Sun Correspondent Adekoya

The Kwara journalism community is in mourning following the death of Mr. Niyi Adekoya, a correspondent for The Sun. A memorial service was held in Omu Aran, where several prominent figures from the media sector gathered to pay their respects.

Among the attendees were four former chairmen of the Kwara Council of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ): Mr. Akinola Akogun, Elder Stephen Oni, Alhaji Tund Akanbi, and Umar Abdulwahab. The gathering highlighted the impact Mr. Adekoya had on the journalism profession in the region and the loss felt by his colleagues and the community at large.
