Governors Visit Survivors of Kwara Massacre Amid Rising Security Concerns

Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq of Kwara State, alongside Governors Usman Ododo of Kogi State and Biodun Oyebanji of Ekiti State, visited survivors of a recent terrorist attack in Woro community, Kaiama Local Government Area of Kwara State. The attack led to casualties and displacements, prompting heightened security worries in the North Central region.

The visit aimed to show solidarity with the victims and assess the situation. Abraham Olanrewaju, a leader of the APC Christian Leader Forum Nigeria, condemned the massacre, emphasizing the need for peace and security measures to prevent future attacks.

The Emir of Kaiama, Muazu Sheu Omar, urged security agencies to intensify efforts to ensure justice for the affected. The incident underscores the urgent need for stakeholder commitment to safeguard lives and properties in the region.
