Munirat Akanbi-Bello Elected First Female PSN Chairman

Munirat Kikelomo Akanbi-Bello has made history by being elected as the first female chairman of the Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria (PSN), Kwara State Branch. The election occurred on Saturday in Ilorin, the capital of Kwara State, where she triumphed over two male candidates to secure the chairmanship position.

Following her victory, Akanbi-Bello expressed her gratitude to the members of the association for their trust and confidence, emphasizing that the win represents a collective achievement. She stated, “This victory is not mine alone; it is ours.

It is a testament to our collective strength, unity and belief in a greater PSN Kwara.” In her commitment to the role, she pledged to lead with integrity, transparency, and inclusiveness, focusing on the interests and welfare of the members. Additionally, she promised to work towards advancing the pharmaceutical profession, protecting the practice, and improving the welfare of pharmacists throughout Kwara State.
