Kwara State Targets 1.2 Million for Immunization Program

Kwara State government aims to immunize over 1.2 million pregnant mothers and under-5 children in a five-day integrated health outreach program. The Executive Secretary of the State Primary Healthcare Development Agency, Professor Nusirat Elelu, disclosed that the state plans to deploy health workers to 193 fixed primary healthcare centers and temporary posts.

The initiative targets children under one year, pregnant women, and others for routine immunization and health services. This comprehensive program underscores the government's commitment to ensuring the well-being of its citizens through accessible healthcare services and preventive measures.
