Kwara United Moves Home Games to Lagos Amid Ban

Kwara United has officially relocated its home games to Mobolaji Johnson Arena in Onikan, Lagos, for the remainder of the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) season. This decision follows an indefinite stadium ban imposed on the club due to unacceptable fan behavior during a rescheduled match against Rivers United on Matchday 23.

The Nigeria Premier Football League approved this relocation in a letter signed by Chief Operating Officer Davidson Owumi. The club will now play its remaining home fixtures outside Ilorin, with the first match at the new venue set for March 30 against Rangers International.

The move comes as Ogun State-based club Remo Stars struggles to avoid relegation, with concerns that rival fans may exacerbate tensions.
