Barcelona's Yamal Regains Form Ahead of Rayo Clash

FC Barcelona coach Hansi Flick indicated that 19-year-old winger Lamine Yamal is returning to his "top level" ahead of the La Liga match against Rayo Vallecano. Yamal had a challenging start to the season, struggling in the first match against Elche but showed improvement in the second match against Athletic Bilbao, where he played 90 minutes without scoring.

Flick acknowledged the concerns surrounding Yamal's performance following a hamstring injury in April and his limited impact at the World Cup despite Spain's success. He expressed satisfaction with Yamal's progress, noting that he is in a better mood during training.

Flick also mentioned that the team is currently performing well, with Raphinha filling in as a makeshift number nine, and emphasized that there is no pressure to sign a new striker, as sporting director Deco is working on strengthening the team.
