Lafarge Africa Launches Campaign Against Malaria in Lagos

On May 6, 2026, Lafarge Africa PLC initiated a nationwide outreach campaign to commemorate World Malaria Day, mobilizing 1,000 participants across its host communities. The campaign aimed to raise awareness, promote prevention, and encourage early treatment of malaria.

The theme of the campaign brought together residents, health stakeholders, and community leaders across multiple locations in Lagos, which served as a key hub. In partnership with the Society for Family Health (SFH) and the Lagos State Health District II, Lafarge Africa distributed insecticide-treated nets and provided health education sessions that offered guidance on environmental hygiene practices.
