Accord Party Reveals Candidates for Lagos 2027 Elections

The Lagos State chapter of the Accord Party unveiled its candidates for the 2027 general elections, including Sowor Robert as the governorship candidate. The event, held on a Saturday, featured the presentation of certificates to the candidates by Dele Oladeji, the state chairman of the Accord Party.

The party aims to offer a credible political alternative for Lagos residents, emphasizing a commitment to social justice, equity, and welfare-oriented governance. Solomon Wahab, the candidate for the Lagos Central senatorial district, highlighted the need for greater accountability in governance and urged Nigerians to obtain permanent voter cards to participate actively in the electoral process.

Joseph Jehoshaphat, representing the Badagry Federal Constituency, pledged to address infrastructure challenges and youth unemployment. Additionally, Bless Maduka Sundai, the candidate for the Lagos East senatorial district, advocated for increased participation of women in politics and called for policies to promote women's empowerment and poverty reduction.
