Lagos Announces 8-Month Partial Closure of Lekki-Ajah Road for Rehabilitation

The Lagos State Government has revealed plans to partially close the Lekki-Ajah road for eight months starting from November 15, 2025, to July 15, 2026, to carry out major rehabilitation works aimed at easing traffic congestion in the area. The project will be executed in two phases to minimize disruptions, with specific sections experiencing partial closures throughout the rehabilitation period.

Oluwaseun Osiyemi, the Commissioner for Transport, emphasized the commitment to enhancing road infrastructure for a safer and smoother journey for all road users.
