Ajos Denies Endorsement of Hamzat, Threatens Legal Action

Samuel Ajos, an aspirant for the Lagos State governorship under the APC, has publicly denied endorsing the current Deputy Governor, Obafemi Hamzat, for the governorship candidacy. Ajos labeled a circulated press release that suggested his support for Hamzat as false and unauthorized, asserting that it did not originate from his campaign organization.

He emphasized that the statement was misleading and malicious, calling on the public and media to disregard it. Ajos warned that failure to retract the false statement within 12 hours would result in legal action for defamation and potential criminal charges, as it could damage his reputation and that of the APC.

He urged the people of Lagos State to support his campaign and to be cautious of misinformation that could manipulate public opinion.
