NiMet Predicts Thunderstorms and Light Rain in Lagos, Bayelsa, and Rivers

The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMet) has released a weather forecast predicting thunderstorms and light rain in Lagos, Bayelsa, and Rivers states. The forecast indicates a mix of sunshine and cloudy conditions across the country from Monday to Wednesday.

Northern states are expected to experience sunny to hazy conditions, with dust haze anticipated in parts of the north on Tuesday and Wednesday. The central region is also expected to have similar conditions.

In the southern region, cloudy skies with intermittent sunshine are expected, with isolated thunderstorms and light rain in some areas like Bayelsa, Rivers, Akwa Ibom, and Cross River states. NiMet has warned of suspended dust particles in the north-central region and advised residents to take necessary precautions.
