Tragic Fire in Lagos Claims Life of 103-Year-Old Woman

A 103-year-old woman lost her life in a fire that broke out in a residential building on Bola Street in Oyingbo, Lagos State. The fire destroyed multiple properties, including a bungalow and several shops.

Olufemi Okosanyintolu of the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency confirmed the incident and stated that the fire started in a room and quickly spread. The elderly woman's body was recovered, and the cause of the fire is yet to be determined.

The agency successfully contained the fire after a rescue and recovery operation.
