LASERC Urges Lagos Residents to Report Power Issues

The Lagos State Electricity Regulatory Commission (LASERC) has called on electricity consumers in Lagos to report unresolved power complaints directly to them, as the Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission (NERC) no longer addresses complaints within the state. This call comes in response to a year-long electricity crisis affecting Goshen Beach Estate in Lekki Phase 1.

LASERC emphasized the importance of residents engaging directly with electricity distribution companies to escalate their complaints. Residents of Goshen Beach Estate expressed appreciation for LASERC's intervention, which included connecting a direct line to the Jazz 38 feeder line, significantly improving electricity supply.

Despite previous attempts yielding little result, LASERC's direct engagement with Eko Electricity Distribution Company has been commended. The commission continues to work towards improving electricity service delivery and urges consumers not to remain silent about unresolved electricity challenges.
