Lagos Trader Arraigned for Allegedly Defiling Daughter

Eber Ezetoha Fridai, a 44-year-old trader, was arraigned at the Ikeja Chief Magistrate Court for allegedly defiling his four-year-old daughter. The prosecution, led by Adegok Ademigbuji, stated that the child's mother caught Ezetoha inserting his finger into the girl's anus after hearing her cries.

This alleged offense took place on February 14 at their residence located at 35 Princ Ibeh Arinz Crescent, Ago Palace, Lagos. The act contravenes Section 135 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State, 2015.

Ezetoha pleaded not guilty to the charges. Chief Magistrate Omolara Kushanu granted him bail in the sum of N500,000, requiring two sureties.

The case has been adjourned until April 9 for further mention.
