The government's prompt action came after a viral video raised concerns among residents, prompting calls for urgent help. Commissioner Mobolaji Ogunlend confirmed the woman's safety and emphasized the government's commitment to social stability and protecting vulnerable individuals.

The Ministry of Youth and Social Development urged residents to report similar cases involving mentally unstable persons for immediate assistance.
