Lagos Hairstylist Elvis Shot Dead During Robbery Attempt

On Saturday evening, a Lagos hairstylist identified as Elvis was shot dead by suspected armed robbers at Alesh Market in the Ajah area of Lagos State. The incident occurred while Elvis was returning from his workplace.

Reports indicate that the robbers attacked multiple individuals in the market, stealing their belongings. Elvis reportedly resisted the robbers, which led to him being shot in the head.

A police source confirmed the incident on Tuesday, stating that efforts are underway to determine the circumstances surrounding the killing and to apprehend the suspects. The robbers also stole items from other passersby during the attack.

A local resident expressed growing concern over the increasing frequency of robbery and harassment in the area, urging for enhanced police patrols, especially at night. Abimbola Adebisi, the state Police Public Relations Officer, confirmed that no suspects have been apprehended yet and that investigations are ongoing.
