Lagos Legends Collaborate with Mayor Okeowo for Football

The Lagos Legends Club, represented by notable former Nigerian internationals, paid a courtesy visit to Mayor Dr. Olufemi Akanbi Okeowo of Ifelodun LCDA to seek collaboration in developing grassroots football.

The delegation included prominent figures such as Waidi Akanni, Monday Kanu, and Fatai Amoo, who articulated the club's vision for ongoing programs aimed at nurturing the next generation of football talent. They expressed gratitude for the mayor's consistent support for grassroots sports initiatives.

During the visit, it was announced that the club plans to donate trophies in the mayor's name for competitions in Ajegunle, aimed at discovering and developing budding talent within the community. Mayor Okeowo highlighted the importance of unity and collaboration in advancing sports and social welfare, aligning with the national agenda towards 2027.
