Lagos Man Allegedly Punches Wife to Death in Dispute

On a Friday, a domestic dispute escalated when 41-year-old Uchenna Aghoha allegedly punched his wife, Esther Aghoha, leading to her death in Satellite Town, Lagos State. The couple had a history of domestic violence, and the altercation began with an argument that turned physical.

Their 14-year-old daughter ran to raise the alarm after witnessing her mother collapse from the punch. Uchenna Aghoha reportedly rushed to discover Esther motionless.

Following the incident, the daughter reported the case to the police, who later found Esther and rushed her to the Nigerian Navy Reference Hospital in Ojo, where she was confirmed dead. The police confirmed that Uchenna Aghoha is currently in custody, and the body has been deposited at the General Hospital Yaba for an autopsy.
