Lagos State Distributes Free Textbooks to SS3 Students for Quality Education

The Lagos State Government, led by Funmi Ogundar, has launched a program to provide free textbooks to SS3 students in public schools. The initiative, spearheaded by Tolani Alli Balogun of the Lagos Commission for Basic and Secondary Education, aims to ensure students have access to essential learning materials for a quality education.

The government highlighted the significance of textbooks in enhancing students' academic performance and emphasized the commitment to free education. Plans to introduce digital tablets for SS3 students were also revealed to enhance education technology.

The commission urged teachers to guide students in utilizing the textbooks effectively.
