Lagos State Closes Lekki-Epe Expressway for Repairs

The Lagos State Government has announced a total closure of the Ajah-bound carriageway of the Lekki-Epe Expressway at Admiralti Junction and Jubilee Bridge for repairs. This closure is part of ongoing rehabilitation work on the corridor, as disclosed in a press release issued on Thursday, signed by Mr. Oluwaseun OsiYemi, the Commissioner for Transport.

The closure will allow for uninterrupted construction work and will involve traffic management measures to facilitate vehicular movement. During peak hours, traffic will be diverted, with two lanes serving Lagos-bound traffic and one lane for Ajah-bound traffic.

Motorists are advised to use the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Road as an alternative route. The rehabilitation work will be executed in defined phases, with specific timelines for each segment.

The Lagos State Traffic Management Authority will deploy personnel along the corridor to ensure seamless traffic flow and provide swift response to breakdowns.
