Lagos State Launches 2026 Model Colleges Registration

The Lagos State government has commenced the online registration process for the 2026 Model Colleges screening test, as announced by the Lagos State Ministry of Basic Secondary Education. The registration period will begin on January 19, 2026, and will close on May 15, 2026.

Mr. Adebayo Orunsolu, the registrar of the Lagos State Examination Board, is coordinating this exercise.

Eligible candidates include primary six pupils from both public and private primary schools across Lagos State. Parents, guardians, school owners, and head teachers are advised to complete the registration process through the board's official portal.

Mr. Orunsolu emphasized the importance of adhering to the registration guidelines to ensure a seamless process.

The screening test will be merit-based, assessing candidates' performance through a computer-based test that will cover subjects such as English, Mathematics, and General Knowledge, with the cut-off marks varying by school.
