Lagos Police Screening for Constables Starts March 9, 2026

The Lagos State Police Command has officially announced that the physical credential screening for applicants seeking to join the Nigeria Police Force as general duty specialist constables will begin on Monday, March 9, 2026, and will continue daily until Saturday, April 18, 2026. The screening will take place at the Police College in Ikeja, Lagos State, starting at 7:00 AM each day.

SP Abimbola Adebisi, the command's public relations officer, disclosed this information in a statement. The exercise is open to applicants who are indigenes of Lagos State and have successfully completed the online registration for the 2025/2026 recruitment exercise.

Applicants are required to present several mandatory documents, including a National Identification Number (NIN) printout, O-Level certificates, birth certificates, and a local government area (LGA) state of origin certificate, among others. They must also adhere to a strict dress code and are advised to follow the scheduled dates and guidelines provided by the command.
