Lagos Taskforce Impounds 134 Motorcycles on Restricted Routes for Security Enforcement

The Lagos State Taskforce has impounded 134 commercial motorcycles, popularly known as "okada," on restricted routes across major parts of the state. The enforcement operation, conducted in two phases, targeted areas like Obalende, Falomo, Coastal Road, Lago Island, 2nd Rainbow, Mile 2 Bridge, Five Star, Ladipo Bus Stop, and Cele Bus Stop.

The task force aims to restore sanity and ensure compliance with traffic and security regulations, with violators facing confiscation and legal actions according to the state's transport laws. The agency is committed to sustaining enforcement activities until full compliance is achieved.
