Lagos State Seizes 70 Motorcycles on Restricted Routes for Public Safety

The Lagos State Government seized 70 commercial motorcycles on major restricted routes, including Falomo Underbridge, Marina Coastal Road, and Ajah Roundabout. The operation, led by the Ministry of Transport and signed by Commissioner Oluwaseun Osiyemi, aimed to enforce laws against commercial motorcycles on specific streets to ensure public safety and free traffic flow.

The seized motorcycles will be forfeited to the state, in line with the Lagos State Transport Sector Reform Law 2018. This action is part of ongoing efforts to regulate transport activities and maintain order in Lagos.
