Mourinho Declares No Player Untouchable at Real Madrid

Jose Mourinho, the manager of Real Madrid, asserted that no player holds an untouchable status within his squad after their narrow victory against Elche. The match, which took place on a Tuesday night, saw Real Madrid secure a last-minute win thanks to a goal from Carlos Espi.

Mourinho was questioned about Arda Güler, who had opened the scoring with a remarkable free-kick but was substituted in the 68th minute. Mourinho explained that he felt Güler was losing intensity, which is critical for a player in the 'number ten' position that requires extensive coverage of the pitch.

He emphasized that his substitutions are often made to regain control of the game, indicating that every player must maintain their performance level to remain on the field.
