Mourinho Focuses on La Liga After Madrid's Clásico Win
After Real Madrid's 2-1 victory over Barcelona at Camp Nou, José Mourinho, the current coach of Real Madrid, emphasized that the team's primary focus is on winning La Liga rather than just achieving victories at the Camp Nou. He noted that while the win was significant, it should not lead to overconfidence.
Mourinho praised the players for their hard work and calmness during the match, attributing the success to their collective effort. He mentioned that this victory closed the gap at the top of La Liga to three points.
Mourinho, who returned to Real Madrid this summer after a 13-year absence, has a record of six wins and six losses in El Clasicos. He highlighted the importance of having a balanced midfield with diverse talents to enhance both defensive and attacking capabilities.
However, he cautioned that any slip-up in the next match could undermine the value of this win.
